How Creditum handles your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Data Collection
Creditum does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All information you enter into the app remains on your device.
Local Storage
- All transactions, person names, and notes are stored locally in a SQLite database on your device
- Your data is never uploaded automatically
- Creditum backs up automatically after changes, and you can also export and import backups by hand
Permissions
Contact Access (Optional)
- Creditum may request access to your contacts to help you add people quickly
- This permission is optional and can be revoked at any time through your device settings
- Contact data is used only for autofilling names and is never stored or transmitted
Storage Access (For Backups)
- Used to write and read backup files in a folder you choose
- Creditum keeps access to that folder so it can back up automatically after changes
Third-Party Services
Creditum does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected in the app’s about page.
